E-Fensive Security Strategies was formed in 2007 after an engineer became frustrated with many so called security companies and their offerings. The engineer had over 14 years technical experience in security, systems administration, network design and administration on a wide array of systems. He began working at then Chemical Bank - now JP Morgan Chase in the Accounts Reconciliation Department and Fraud services and worked his way through various industries and Fortune 500 companies including an ISP, a private University, through various dot-com establishments and a few security companies.

According to the engineer, there seemed to be a disconnect between security sales engineers, security product vendors and even "expert security engineers". With his knowledge he decided to create his own security company, the type of company he would contacted if one existed. Being versatile and technical, he was able to weed out many snake oil salesman and engineers who were nothing more than paper engineers, incapable of understanding the common core of security in general. It takes a hacker to stop a hacker, it takes someone with versatility, intuition and hands on expertise to get the job done right.

With this said, he followed his goal of creating a dependable and knowledgeable company which is capable of understanding threats, understanding the attack and understanding how to defend against it. With professional technical experience in the industry, experience in managing enterprise sized infrastrutures ranging from the operating system, the network, to creating and implementing policies, E-Fensive was launched. We are more than capable of addressing technical and managerial issues in the security field. Our work is methodical, progressive giving our customers the kind of services we would look for.
